This ongoing class is for writers to explore their personal experience of coercive control. It provides a confidential, engaging space for survivors who wish to establish a writing practice as part of their personal healing and/or are actively engaged in writing a book. Each class includes a writing prompt, provides ample time to write, to share one's work and to receive feedback and support for the writer’s journey. Registration: first come, first served. Come raise a glass of your favorite water - or drink of your choice - to connect with fellow writers and honor your writing about experiences of cultic abuse. This is an opportunity to connect with others who have engaged in Writing to Reckon classes or are using the Journal to integrate complex, cultic life experiences. Please pick a short piece (500 words or less) to share with others and be read to share a toast.

Writer's Space provides writers with a space to write while in the company of other survivors who are also writing. After a brief welcome, where participants can state their writing goals, everyone will work on their own. The last 15 minutes of each session will be open for writers to share their accomplishments. Writers can drop or exit at any time.
